Supporting people and their communities through jobs is at the heart of everything we do at JobsBank – and this is more important than ever during the pandemic, especially for communities who experience barriers to employment.
So it’s with particular pride that we’ve been able to work with Brotherhood of St Laurence through our support of Working for Victoria, helping to create over 100 new job opportunities for Victorians.
And this week, we are pleased to introduce you to Tsion, a leader in Victoria’s Ethiopian community, who has landed a role as a recruitment officer through BSL’s Given the Chance program. With her close ties to communities and personal experience with searching for jobs, she’s ready to support others on their path to employment.
